Following on from our chart-topping comeback EP in April, DJ Hype and crew are back with the second instalment in the ‘Return of the Dubplate Killa’ series.

DJ Hype releases another track from his vault of dubplates, teaming up with label debutant Jappa on the heavyweight ‘Kill Something’. Packed with trademark Reggae vocal snippets and huge Reese basses, this one has been getting multiple wheel-ups in the dance.

DJ Hazard’s contribution to Vol. 2 is special. ‘Fallen Soldiers’ inspired by the memories of all the people our scene has loved and lost, is a captivating ensemble of orchestral instruments and cinematic soundscapes composed entirely by Hazard himself, married with his instantly recognisable Drum & Bass production style.

Taxman is back on Playaz for the first time since 2022 showcasing his signature skillset for creating Jungle music with a twist. ‘Excalibur’ kicks off with authentic pads and breaks before switching into a red-hot analogue bassline.

Tyke & Prestige are taking no prisoners with the suitably named ‘Darkness’. With a serious message in the sample, this drops right into a sub-driven moody roller. Graveyard shift DJs - this one is for you.
